111 Mr. Lawlor asked the Minister for Arts, Culture and the Gaeltacht if he has brought forward proposals for the public acquisition of 170 acres of land in the Liffey Valley/Lucan Demesne area as promised in the new Programme for Government; if a price has been agreed with the owners; when the transfer will take place; and if he will make a statement on the matter. I am pleased to be able to advise the Deputy that at my request the Office of Public Works is in contact with representatives of the owners of the Lucan Demesne property with a view to finalising purchase.
