I beg leave to announce, for the information of the Dáil, that the Government on 27 January appointed Deputy Avril Doyle to be Minister of State with responsibility for consumers of public services at the Departments of the Taoiseach, Finance and Transport, Energy and Communications and Deputy Donal Carey to be Minister of State with responsibility for western development and rural renewal at the Departments of the Taoiseach and Arts, Culture and the Gaeltacht with special responsibility for the Gaeltacht.
