137 Mr. E. Ryan asked the Minister for the Environment in view of the serious concern about particular instances of water pollution, when the Environmental Protection Agency will publish its pending report on water quality in our waterways; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [8587/95]

Publication of the next national overview of water quality for the period 1991 to 1994 is a matter for the Environmental Protection Agency. I understand that the report is expected to be published in autumn 1995.
