140 Mr. Dempsey asked the Minister for the Environment the net cost per local authority of providing and maintaining courthouses and of implementing the Abattoirs Act, the Control of Dogs Act and the higher education grants scheme for each of the years 1993 and 1994. [8593/95]
While gross figures for local authority receipts and expenditure on various programme groups, which would include the items referred to, are contained in the local authority Estimates, 1993 and 1994, which are available in the Oireachtas Library, the specific details sought in the question are not available in my Department.
Details in relation to the net cost of implementing the Control of Dogs Acts in 1993 are set out in the following table. Information in respect of 1994 is not yet available.
