146 Mr. Dukes asked the Minister for the Environment if he has received the inspector's report on the public inquiry into the proposed motorway by-pass of Kildare town; the problems if any, that the report reveals in the plans; when he intends to make a decision on the project. [8706/95]

The inspector's report has been completed and I hope to be in a position shortly to give a decision on the motorway scheme. In view of my quasijudicial role in the matter, it would not be appropriate for me to comment further at this stage.
