86 Mr. O'Donoghue asked the Minister for Justice with regard to section 25/4, of the Courts and Court Officers Bill, the courses of education and training, if any, that she envisages for persons seeking a judicial appointment; and if it would be more reasonable to expect that the course of education and training should be confined to persons after their appointment. 88 Mr. O'Donoghue asked the Minister for Justice the steps, if any, that have been taken to make appointments to the Appointments Advisory Board under section 23 of the Courts and Court Officers Bill; and the date on which it is envisaged that the powers of the board will become effective. 89 Mr. O'Donoghue asked the Minister for Justice when an announcement will be made with regard to the establishment of a Courts Commission under section 29 of Courts and Court Officers Bill. [9644/95]

I propose to take Questions Nos. 86, 88 and 89 together.

I am reviewing the provisions of the Courts and Court Officers Bill and I will announce my proposals in the normal way in due course.
