114 Mr. L. Fitzgerald asked the Minister for Enterprise and Employment the legislative proposals, if any, he has arising from the annual report of the Director of Consumer Affairs; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [9700/95]
In his annual report in 1993 the director drew attention to a number of areas where he felt that existing legislative provisions might be improved. His main concerns, which related to consumer credit issues, have been taken into account in the context of the Consumer Credit Bill, currently at Report Stage. Legislative measures are also planned during 1995 in regard to life and non-life insurance products and timeshare.
