Ceist:73 Dr. O'Hanlon asked the Minister for the Environment the proposals, if any, he has to introduce further legislation to deal with high levels of noise. [9666/95]

Given the scope and recent origin of existing legislation in this area, namely sections 106 to 108 of the Environmental Protection Agency Act, 1992 and section 77 of the Roads Act, 1993, I do not at present intend to introduce further legislative proposals on noise.
