234 Miss Coughlan asked the Minister for Education the attempts that have been made to have additional moneys made available for youth and sport grants; if moneys will be made available at the end of 1995 for this scheme; and if she will make a statement on the matter. [13195/95]
My Department has already notified vocational education committees of their grant allocations for 1995 under the youth and sport scheme. Grants approved for vocational education committees in 1995 under the above scheme were generally in line with amounts approved in the previous year. The position will be reviewed again towards the end of the year having regard to funds at my disposal.
