Seamus Brennan
Ceist:245 Mr. S. Brennan asked the Minister for Justice her views on the implications for section 24 of the Coroners Act, 1962, which allows power to order a second inquest in certain circumstances, in view of a recent High Court case (details supplied) which decided that no such power existed; if she intends to amend the law to allow for second inquests where the deceased's family have grounds for seeking such a decision; and if she will make a statement on the matter.
