352 Éamon Ó Cuív asked the Minister for Agriculture, Food and Forestry when a reply will be given to a query raised by a solicitor on behalf of a person (details supplied) on 14 October 1993, following a request for this information from the Land Registry; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [13010/95]
I propose to take Questions Nos. 350 and 352 together. A reply issued to the solicitor involved on 14 September 1995. The delay in dealing with the query is regretted. A factor in the delay was the reassignment of some Land Commission staff to other work with effect from May, 1993. As the Deputy is aware payment of compensation is not possible.
