40 Mr. Broughan asked the Minister for Finance the total amount of funds lodged to the current accounts of the associated and non-associated banks and to building societies in each of the years from 1992 to date in 1995. [14779/95]
While I have no statutory function in this matter, the following tables have been produced by my Department on the basis of information supplied by the Central Bank.
The Deputy may wish to know that the information which he seeks is collected by the Central Bank and is published by the bank in the statistical appendix to its annual report and in the bank's quarterly reports. The bank does not publish information on the amounts held in building societies current accounts.
