Ceist:102 Miss M. Wallace asked the Minister for Equality and Law Reform the reason for the delay in publishing the promised Employment Equality and Equal Status Bills; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [14841/95]
Written Answers. - Employment Equality and Equal Status Bills.
In reply to questions in this House on 25 April 1995 and on 4 July 1995, I indicated my intention to bring forward the Employment Equality Bill before the end of the year. There has been no change in my plans in this regard. There has been no undue delay in publishing the Equal Status Bill and I intend that it will be brought forward as soon as possible next year.
