100 Mr. Callely asked the Minister for Transport, Energy and Communications the name and rank of all the officials who travelled to Boston for Saint Patrick's Day in 1995; the cost in each case; and the official engagements carried out. [15726/95]

I was accompanied by Mr. Colin McCrea, Programme Manager and Mr. Eoin Ó Seaghdha, Rúnaí Aire. The total cost of the trip was £8,328.

The official engagements carried out specifically included the following: addressed the Irish-American Partnership Business Breakfast; met with Governor Mr. William Weld; met with representatives of Mayor Mr. Thomas Menino; attended presentation by Aer Lingus on the development of the north American market; formally launched Celtic Vision (Irish cable television station); addressed the Irish Cultural Centre reception; tour of the JFK Presidential Library; and addressed the Irish Society annual dinner.
