Written Answers. - Youth Service Bill.
It is anticipated that the Youth Service Bill will be published during the first half of 1996. My Department has consulted with the main interest groups, including the Youth Organisations, the Local Voluntary Youth Councils, and the relevant Vocational Education Committee. Work is at present under way in my Department on the drafting of the heads of the Youth Service Bill, which will seek to provide a legislative basis for the development of youth work.
