84 Mr. Finucane asked the Minister for Justice if the first registration of a person (details supplied) in County Limerick has been completed in view of the fact that the application was first made in April 1993; and if she will make a statement on the matter. [17065/95]
I am informed by the Registrar of Titles that this application for First Registration was first lodged on 6 April 1993.
I am further informed that the Land Registry issued queries to the applicant's solicitors on 30 March 1994, and that the documents lodged were returned to the solicitors on 28 April 1995, at their request, to enable them to answer the queries issued by the Land Registry.
I understand that the documents were relodged in the Land Registry on 18 July 1995 and that further queries were issued by the Land Registry to the applicant's solicitor on 26 September 1995. A reply to these queries is awaited before registration of the title can proceed.
