, Limerick East): It would not be appropriate for me to divulge the names of overseas insurers who have made inquiries in relation to the regulatory framework for health insurance in the Irish market. I can confirm that my Department has had correspondence and discussions on the regulatory framework with a number of overseas insurers. It is, however, a commercial decision for an insurer whether or not they decide to enter the Irish market.
