143 Miss Harney asked the Minister for Justice whether a prisoner (details supplied), who was sentenced in 1983, is being considered for parole, full or temporary release; if not, when he is due to be released; and if she will make a statement on the matter. [18781/95]
The case of the prisoner concerned was recently reviewed by the Sentence Review Group for the third time and I expect to receive a recommendation from the Group in the near future. Any decision I make on the management of this prisoner's sentence, including the question of temporary release, will take this recommendation into account.
