Ceist:

26 Mr. L. Fitzgerald asked the Minister for the Environment the action, if any, he proposes to take following allegations made to him by Sutton Park and Lawns Residents Association, Sutton, Dublin 13, regarding alleged illegal impaction over ordnance survey defined stream, zoned recreational, in view of the fact that there seems to be a clear conflict of evidence between the expertise employed by the local residents association and Fingal County Council regarding this problem; and if he will make a statement on the matter. I refer to the reply to question No. 109 of 8 November 1995. I remain of the view that it would not be appropriate for me to intervene in matters of this kind which are, essentially, proper for resolution at local level.
