151 Mr. Cowen asked the Minister for Agriculture, Food and Forestry if he will now publish the Kearney report in view of the publication by The Farmers Journal of the contents of the Kearney report on headage payments; if a copy of the Kearney report or details of its contents was provided to The Farmers Journal by his Department; the plans, if any, he has to establish how the report came into the public arena; and if he will make a statement on the matter. Neither a copy of the Kearney report on the compensatory allowances scheme nor details of its contents was provided to The Farmers' Journal by my Department. However, as indicated in my reply of 16 November to a question from the Deputy, copies of the report were supplied to the farming bodies and a copy was also placed in the Dáil Library.
