155 Mr. Callely asked the Minister for Agriculture, Food and Forestry the names of the outside public relations firms engaged by him to date in 1995; the cost of the advice to date in 1995; and the estimated cost for the full year. [18972/95]
My Department used the services of two outside public relations firms in 1995. McMahon Sheedy Communications Consultants were employed on a number of specific projects (cost to date £21,048). Bill O'Herlihy Communications Group were utilised on a once-off basis in relation to specialist training for television presentation (cost £1,550). Total cost to date is £22,598. The estimated total cost for the full year will not exceed £30,000. (This compares with £36,889 spent on such consultancy fees in 1994).
