232 Mr. Finucane asked the Minister for Agriculture, Food and Forestry if he will make a retrospective payment to a person (details supplied) in County Limerick in view of the fact that this application was made in February 1995 under the farm retirement scheme; and if he will make a statement on the matter. The application in this case was received in the Department's office on 16 February 1995 but was found to be incomplete. It was resubmitted in completed form on 13 November 1995. The latter date is the date of valid application, from which date the pension was paid in December 1995.
