Ceist:72 Mr. Killeen asked the Minister for Agriculture, Food and Forestry when additional field staff will be appointed to his offices at Kilrush Road, Ennis, County Clare, to deal with the increasing workload. [2204/96]
Written Answers. - Departmental Staffing.
The staffing situation, not only at Ennis, but at all other Department offices, is the subject of continuous and ongoing review by my Department's management to ensure that, within resources available, the best possible service is provided and, in particular, that applications are processed and grants paid with the minimum of delay.
There are 35 field staff in the Ennis office and there are no plans at present to augment this number.
