156 Mr. N. Treacy asked the Minister for Education the reason for the delay in providing temporary buildings at a location (details supplied) in County Galway; the reason this was not done in 1995; the date on which the buildings will be located and provided in 1996; the total expenditure allocated for these buildings; and if she will make a statement on the matter. My Department has approved the provision of additional temporary accommodation at the school in question. Additional technical documentation relating to this provision was recently submitted to the Department. Following examination of this documentation, the Department will contact the school authority.
