198 Mr. J. Walsh asked the Minister for Agriculture, Food and Forestry the total amount paid out in national lottery grants by his Department in respect of each county or constituency in the country; and the specific project funded for each grant allocation. [2879/96]
In 1991 a total of £940,581 was provided from national lottery funds for the capital and non capital expenses of the National Botanic Gardens. On 9 January 1992 the responsibility for the gardens was transferred to the Minister for Finance.
This is the only occasion that my Department has received money from the national lottery.
