I propose to take Questions Nos. 98, 99 and 100 together.

In the period since my appointment as Minister for Equality and Law Reform in January 1993 under the previous Administration, I established five groups to advise and/or report on a range of matters pertinent to my Department. The information requested by the Deputy is set out in the following tables.

Ad hoc steering group established to assist with the preparation for the setting up, initially, of a provisional Council for the Status of People with Disabilities as a step towards the setting up of a representative council.

This group received £100,000 in grant aid in 1995. A further provision of £100,000 has been made for this purpose in 1996.

Monitoring committee on the implementation of the recommendations of the Second Commission on the Status of Women.

£9,000 approximately.
