118 Mr. J. Walsh asked the Minister for the Environment the total amount paid out in national lottery grants by his Department in respect of each county or constituency in the country; and the specific project funded for each grant allocation. [2890/96]
All grants paid by my Department under various schemes funded from the national lottery surplus are listed in the appropriation accounts for each of the years 1987 to 1994. These are published with the annual reports of the Comptroller and Auditor General, copies of which are available in the Oireachtas Library.
In 1995, grants funded from the national lottery surplus were paid in respect of the local authority library service, the provision and renovation of swimming pools and the provision of communal facilities in voluntary housing projects. Details are set out in the following tables:
