92 Mr. D. Ahern asked the Minister for the Environment the decision, if any, he has made regarding the advertising agency in respect of the anti-litter campaign due to be run by his Department; the procedures involved; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [3956/96]

Following a request from my Department, four advertising agencies have submitted proposals for a multimedia advertising campaign as envisaged in the new anti-litter initiative, Action Against Litter. These proposals are now being assessed by my Department with a view to an early decision.
