185 Mr. D. McDowell asked the Minister for Justice when a decision will be made regarding an application for citizenship of a person (details supplied); and the further information, if any, she requires in order to make this decision. [4197/96]
The application of the person detailed by the Deputy was made in mid-September 1995 and is currently under consideration in my Department. Some standard inquiries related to the application are currently being carried out and when these are completed, the application will be submitted to me for a decision. As soon as full consideration has been given to this case, I will advise both the applicant and the Deputy of my decision.
