Ceist:

132 Mr. D. Ahern asked the Minister for Health in respect of his Department and each semi-State body and Government-constituted board under the aegis of his Department but with the exception of members of the Government, the persons who are provided with cars at State expense; the offices held by such persons; the number of people employed to drive such cars; the type of use permitted for such cars; and the total cost in each case. Limerick East): Each of the Ministers of State at my Department is provided with two civilian drivers at a total cost of £52,740.

In addition, the National Rehabilitation Board provides a car for the manager (new projects). The cost of the car in 1993 was £15,700 and the annual running cost for business and personal use in 1995 was £1,924.
