143 Mr. Ring asked the Minister for Health if a person (details supplied) in County Mayo can be provided with a mobile kidney dialysis unit in view of the fact that he is unable to travel from the island to the hospital three days per week for treatment. [6605/96]

Limerick East): The Deputy will appreciate that as this is a clinical matter the patient has to be assessed as to his suitability for such a machine. It is a matter for the patient's consultant and general practitioner to make the necessary arrangements.
