206 Mr. D. Ahern asked the Minister for the Environment the amount of money which each local authority has been informed that they will receive in 1996 from his Department in respect of new housing and housing repairs; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [6537/96]

Local authorities were notified on 13 March last of the financial allocations for their local authority housing programmes in 1996. A statement detailing the allocations is available in the Oireachtas Library.
