35 Mr. M. McDowell asked the Minister for Equality and Law Reform if he will publish the report of the monitoring committee on the implementation of the recommendations of the Second Commission on the Status of Women; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [6416/96]

The Second Progress Report of the Monitoring Committee on the Implementation of the Recommendations of the Second Commission on the Status of Women will be launched on 27 March 1996.

I intend to present the report to the House and to supply copies to the Oireachtas Joint Committee on Women's Rights.
