334 Miss Harney asked the Minister for Enterprise and Employment the members of the Monitoring Committee for the Operational Programme for Human Resources under the Structural Funds; and the organisations or bodies they represent; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [6318/96]

The organisations represented on the Human Resources Operational Programme Monitoring Committee are those most directly concerned with the implementation of the constituent elements of the programme.

My Department is currently in the process of setting up the Monitoring Committee for the Small Business Operational Programme. In addition to EU representatives and representatives of my Department, the following bodies have been asked to nominate a representative to be a member of the monitoring committee: Department of Finance, Department of Tourism and Trade, Forbairt, An Bord Tráchtála, FÁS, SFA, ISME, ICTU, Irish Coalition of Service Industries, Chambers of Commerce of Ireland, Irish Bankers Federation, the Small Business and Services Forum and the Oireachtas Joint Committee on Small Business and Services.
