348 Mr. Ring asked the Minister for Agriculture, Food and Forestry the reason his Department has not paid the second instalment of the REP scheme to a person (details supplied) in County Mayo in view of the fact that the local Teagasc office has confirmed that his application is in order. An application form for second year payment under the REP scheme issued to the person concerned in early January 1996 but the completed application form has not yet been returned to the local office of my Department.

On receipt of this form and supporting documentation the application will be processed without delay.
