Ceist:390 Mr. Sargent asked the Minister for Agriculture, Food and Forestry when he expects to issue grants to applicants under the scheme of grant aid for the organic sector; and when he will release these funds. [6375/96]
Written Answers. - Grant Payments.
One application received under the scheme of aid for the development of the organic sector under the Operational Programme for Agriculture, Rural Development and Forestry has been approved and payment issued.
Inspections are being carried out at present in relation to the other applications received. These inspections will be concluded in the near future and further payments to approved applicants will be made shortly thereafter.
