Ceist:75 Mr. Ring asked the Minister for the Environment the amount of money spent on mobile and stationery libraries in County Mayo in 1995; and the amount spent to date in 1996. [7678/96]

Details of current expenditure on library services by Mayo County Council during the years in question are not available in my Department. Grants paid to Mayo County Council in respect of capital expenditure on libraries in 1995 totalled £210,028. Any such grant payments in 1996 will depend on expenditure by the local authority on relevant library capital works.
