Vol. 465 No. 6

Written Answers. - Ministerial Travel.

Ivor Callely

Ceist:

262 Mr. Callely asked the Minister for Enterprise and Employment the total cost of ministerial foreign travel in 1995; if he will give a breakdown of this cost; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [10300/96]

The total cost of foreign travel undertaken in 1995 by me and the two Ministers of State at my Department was £15,761.78. The following tables give a breakdown of this cost. The costs given represent the costs borne to date by the Department; they do not take account of any EU refunds which may already have been received or are due in respect of the trips. (In cases where the Government jet or the Beechcraft was used, the costs involved were not borne by the Department.)
