Vol. 465 No. 6

Written Answers. - Licence Fee Income.

Noel Dempsey

Ceist:

94 Mr. Dempsey asked the Minister for Finance the total income realised by the State from fees paid in respect of licences required by the State. [10096/96]

There are many classes of "licence" required by the State for which fees are collected by many public authorities. I assume that in this instance that the Deputy is referring to the fee income for licences issued by organisations for whom I have responsibility. The following amounts were collected in respect of these licences in 1995.

Class a — Liquor licences

6.16

Class B — Others

—Bookmakers

0.13

2.33
