260 Mr. Gregory asked the Minister for Justice if replacement gardaí are available to carry out the duties of gardaí on sick leave in the Bridewell Garda Station, Dublin 7; and if not, the persons who carry out their duties. [12606/96]
The Garda authorities are responsible for operational decisions arising in situations such as this. They have informed me that when a member of An Garda Síochána is absent from duty due to sick leave the duties normally assigned to that member are reassigned, as necessary, to other Garda members.
