Subsistence allowance is intended to cover all expenses for accommodation, meals and incidental charges as necessary and appropriate and is not intended to be a source of emolument or profit.
Unfortunately records are not currently maintained by my Department in a format which would enable the specific details sought by the Deputy to be extracted. I am satisfied that to do so would take an excessive and inordinate amount of work.
