Vol. 467 No. 1

Written Answers. - County Leitrim Drainage Scheme.

Declan Bree

Ceist:

101 Mr. Bree asked the Minister for Finance whether the Office of Public Works will consider carrying out minor relief drainage works on the length of the Killery River stretching from Crossboy to the River Bonet, Dromahair, County Leitrim, particularly in the context of the new arterial drainage legislation; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [12697/96]

The flooding problems on this stretch of the Killery River, a tributary of the River Bonet in County Leitrim, will be considered for inclusion, along with the many other areas around the country which suffer periodical localised flooding, in the new national priority drainage programme which is to be drawn up.
