171 Mr. R. Burke asked the Minister for Education if she will immediately sanction the additional permanent classrooms that have been requested by the board of management of St. Colmcille's girls national school, Swords, County Dublin, in view of the current accommodation crisis in the school. Grant aid was sanctioned in October 1995 towards the provision of two prefabricated classrooms at St. Colmcille's girls' national school. In January 1996, the school authorities requested that grant-aid towards a permanent extension be provided instead.
My Department is carrying out a full review of the school's accommodation needs and will be in contact with the school as soon as possible.
