67 Ms. Keogh asked the Taoiseach the State and semi-State boards under the aegis of his Department; the appointments, if any, that have been made to these boards in the past year; the number of women who have been appointed by him; and the percentage of women currently on each of these boards. 1. The State and semi-State boards under the aegis of my Department are:
The Western Development Partnership Board
The National Statistics Board
The National Economic and Social Council
Area Development Management Limited
The Law Reform Commission.
2. There have been no appointments since 25 June 1995 to the Western Development Partnership Board, Area Development Management Limited and the Law Reform Commission.
3. The following appointment has been made to the National Statistics Board since 5 June 1995:
The National Statistics Board
Mr. David Doyle, Department of Finance.
4. While a new NESC was appointed with effect from May 1995, nominations from some organisations were received in subsequent months. The following appointments to NESC were made after 25 June 1995:
The National Economic and Social Council

Mr. Tom Toner, IBEC
Ms Lorraine Sweeney, IBEC
Ms Rosemary Steen, IBEC

5. Five women have been appointed to the National Economic and Social Council since 25 June 1995. No women have been appointed to the Western Development Partnership Board, the National Statistics Board, Area Development Management Limited and the Law Reform Commission during the past year.
