Ceist:224 Mr. Creed asked the Minister for Education if she will have arrangements made to extend a school transport service (details supplied) in County Cork. [14295/96]
Written Answers. - Cork School Transport.
My Department sanctioned an extension of this school transport service in December 1994 for the family in question, who live 1.1 miles from the route.
This is considered to be a reasonable and adequate level of service in the context of the general operation of the school transport scheme.
Accordingly, I do not propose to alter the existing arrangements.
