Ceist:

225 Mr. M. Kitt asked the Minister for Education when a decision will be made on the provision of an extension to and general upgrading of a school (details supplied) in County Galway; and if she will make a statement on the matter. [14296/96]

At present, I am not in a position to sanction the application for extension and upgrading of the school to which the Deputy refers.

Officials of my Department are due to meet with representatives of the school today to consider the school's accommodation needs.
