Ceist:305 Mr. J. Walsh asked the Minister for Social Welfare the plans, if any, he has to close the social welfare district office in Ardee, County Louth; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [14136/96]

As I have stated on a number of occasions in the House in the recent past, no decision has yet been taken with regard to the future of the branch offices of my Department. Any such decision will be fully discussed with the branch managers under the terms of the conciliation and arbitration scheme which covers them.
