363 Mr. Ring asked the Minister for Agriculture, Food and Forestry the current position regarding the proposed sale of lands at Doolough, Geesala, County Mayo in view of the delay in replying to letters (details supplied) from Deputy Ring. [14016/96]
The disposal of Land Commission land is a matter reserved by law to the lay commissioners and is one in which I have no function. However, I have made inquiries and the position is that, after considering proposals prepared by the Land Commission for the disposal of this land, the lay commissioners requested clarification of some of the issues involved. The clarification requested is actively being sought and the file will be resubmitted for decision of the lay commissioners as soon as possible.
