Vol. 468 No. 1

Written Answers. - Third-Level Fees.

Eoin Ryan

Ceist:

151 Mr. E. Ryan asked the Minister for Education if she will permit a person (details supplied) in Dublin 4 to forgo third-level fees for the remainder of his degree course. [14664/96]

The initiative to abolish third level undergraduate tuition fees does not apply to students who are repeating a year, repeating at the same year level or undertaking a second undergraduate qualification. The student in question already has a primary degree. He is therefore not eligible to avail of the initiative.
