In 1995 my Department contributed £1,068.70 to the Institute of European Affairs, of which £1,000 was accounted for by the renewal of the Department's membership of the Institute. The remainder was in respect of publications purchased from the Institute. No payments have been made to the Institute to date in 1996.
The allocation of money to the Institute by bodies under the aegis of my Department is a matter for the bodies concerned.
